Dispatch unloading

The first step; unloading

The first step of the sorting process is unloading the delivered shipment of textiles. In this phase, down comforters/pillows and shoes are already kept apart.

3-4 shipments are unloaded per day, or approximately 50 tons a day. The textiles are unloaded in cages that are subsequently emptied onto transport belts with the forklift. Marbo has 2 transport belts that go to 2 different sorting lines in the production building.

All incoming goods are labeled and scanned by shipment. Information such as the origin of the goods, the weight and price per kilo are automatically registered in the system.
